Well, this time I got about 10 miles from home before I had a problem - not
a broken flexplate, or anything major even, but I did end up calling AAA.

I was out trying to get me some ice cream tonight and the car started over
heating on me so I pulled into the nearest parking lot (Post Office). Temp
was nearing the red but I was in traffic with no where to stop so when I
stopped the temp was just past the 3/4 line (240 or 260 is it?) ANYHOW, I
let the car cool down for about an hour, fired it up, temp was good (it
looks like my fans aren't coming on automatically is my real problem there).

BUT leaving the driveway to the place (exit is different than the entrance)
my super ghetto Driveshaft loop bracket got caught on the pavement, ripping
the brace off of car and thus dropping the loop on the driveshaft, luckly I
was going no mph so I don't think there was any DS damage. SO since I had no
way of removing the DS (have to remove the ds to get the loop off) I ended
up calling for a tow home for a POS DSL :(

Ohh well, 5 minute fix tomorrow morning, but geez what a ball buster that is
:(
