I'd get a picture of it but can't get good light. Sure enough, as Cliff and
Denny predicted, the flexplate is broken at every last arm of it. Pretty
nice cracks too.

At least the trans isn't f-ed :-)

SO, I know I've asked before, does anyone make an SFI approved/heavy duty
flexplate for the LS1?

I guess this is someone's polite way of telling me I should have put the
trans shield on the first time. Now I have to take it out anyhow so at least
I can slap that on while its all out again. :/ (something about seeing the
good beyond the bad)

What all is involved in changing that flexplate? Is it just going to be a
matter of pulling the bolts out of it and bolting the new one in or it's
more involved than that?

Any tips, tricks, help is appreciated. Guess I'll be back to ordering parts
this week :(

Doesn't look like something out of the factory or anything but I think it
looks pretty good.

And yes, I know, I need to clean my car inside and out, something about
other things to worry about first :/
